Welcome to My Personal Page
Welcome to my page! Most of you know my connection with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. My Dad was a 31 year member of the Blauvelt Volunteer Fire Co. and died in the line of duty in 1996 when I was 4 years old. He was honored by the NFFF in 1997. My Mom haas been a very active volunteer with the NFFF. I have participated in all the National Stair Climbs and once again I will be climbing again this September. I thank everyone who has supported me and I hope you will be able to support me again.
The 5th Annual National Stair Climb for Fallen Firefighters is not a timed race event, but a way for firefighters and the community to climb together to honor and remember all firefighters who died in the line of duty.
Each climber pays tribute to a firefighter by climbing 2200 steps, the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Your individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of a firefighter, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Through firefighter and community participation we can ensure that all firefighters are honored.
The funds I'm raising will help the FDNY Counseling Services Unit and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honor America's fallen heroes and assist the surviving families and co-workers in rebuilding their lives after losing their loved one.
