Help Donate to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation
My brother Randy and I will be participating alongside of each other in the 2017 Denver 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb as a part of the Santa Fe County Fire Department Team on Sept 11, 2017, I will be climbing for my department Harquahala Fire District. The Climb will take place at the 1801 California Building in Denver, CO.
The 2017 Denver 9/11 Memorial Climb is a way to honor and remember the FDNY firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on 9-11-2001. Each participant pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Your individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Through firefighter and community participation we can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honored and that the world knows that we will never forget.
The Stair Climb benefits the FDNY CSU, helps defray the costs to send FDNY families to Memorial Weekend and helps fund the programs provided by the NFFF to support the families of our nation’s fallen firefighters.
