Welcome to My Personal Fundraising Page
Please contribute to help the FDNY Counseling Services Unit and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation assist surviving families of fallen heroes to rebuild their lives after losing their loved one.
On October 1st, I will climb 2,200 steps, the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center that Firefighters climbed on September 11th, to honor my fallen friend Chuck Karen. Chuck is survived by his wife and two young children since he left us due to cancer caused from inhaling toxins as he responded on September 11th.
Your individual contribution not only remembers the sacrifice of a firefighter, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Every day, here in New York City and across the country, firefighters go into harm's way, through every obstacle and climbing every step needed to accomplish their life-saving mission.
The National Stair Climb is a way to honor all firefighters from across our country who have made the ultimate sacrifice. This climb is also a way to let the families know the legacies of their loved ones are remembered by so many.
