Why I am climbing
Being the son of a career Minneapolis firefighter and retired Chief, I have wanted to be a firefighter my whole life. Although I followed my music talents to a career in music education, I have the opportunity to serve the community I live in as an EMR and firefighter. It is truly a humbling experience helping those in need.
I just registered for the 2017 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on September 16 at Lambeau Field. I will be climbing to honor and remember America's fallen firefighters and to raise funds to support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
As I count down to the big day, I am asking you to support my commitment to raise funds so that our fallen heroes and the sacrifice they made on 9/11 will never be forgotten. Please help support me in this important project by contributing generously. For information about this volunteer fundraiser and its programs, you can visit http://www.firehero.org/.
