Welcome to My Personal Page
The Annual National Stair Climb for Fallen Firefighters is not a timed race event, but a way for firefighters and the community to climb together to honor and remember all firefighters who died in the line of duty.
Each climber pays tribute to a firefighter by climbing 2200 steps, the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Your individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of a firefighter, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Through firefighter and community participation we can ensure that all firefighters are honored.
The funds I'm raising will help the FDNY Counseling Services Unit and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honor America's fallen heroes and assist the surviving families and co-workers in rebuilding their lives after losing their loved one.
This will be my fourth year doing this climb. I hope you will be able to support the NFFF as I climb to help the many survivors like me and in memory of my Dad, AL "Foxie" DeFlumere who died in the line of duty October 26, 1996, Blauvelt Volunteer Fire Co.
