Welcome to My Stair Climb Page!
On September 11th 2001 Lt. Thomas O'Hagan was murdered at the World Trade Center with 342 of his fellow FDNY firefighters. Tommy was a 20 year veteran of the department who had recently been promoted to lieutenant at Engine 6. He was known as an outstanding firefighter, a great cook and a fantastic bartender. Most importantly, he was a dedicated husband and father to two young boys. I have the honor of climbing on his behalf at the 5th Annual Yellow Springs 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Antioch College on September 8th.
As a 31 year veteran of the fire service, I am asking for your support as I climb the equivalent of 110 stories to honor the fallen. Working with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation coordinating this climb has been one of the most important and moving experiences of my life. Please consider making a donation to support my climb and this important cause. Your gift helps support the NFFF and the families of fallen heroes in the FDNY and across the country.
Funds raised will benefit the programs of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the important work of FDNY's Counseling Services Unit. Your support is critical in helping to honor the memory of these fallen heroes. Please give now so we can help all of those who have lost so much. Thank you!
